• Spartanburg County moves forward tax breaks for 4 projects that could combine to invest $78M (postandcourier.com) — Spartanburg County Council has approved tax breaks for four industrial projects, including a Cooper-Standard Automotive expansion at 100 Quality Way in Boiling Springs. Together the projects could bring about $78 million in investment and more than 100 jobs countywide, with the Boiling Springs site part of a broader push to attract and retain manufacturers in the area.
   

• South Carolina Basketball Coaches Association Rankings for Dec. 10 (postandcourier.com) — Boiling Springs boys’ basketball has cracked the statewide top 10, coming in at No. 10 in the South Carolina Basketball Coaches Association’s latest Class AAAAA Division 1 rankings. The list also highlights how other Spartanburg-area and Upstate programs stack up as the season unfolds.
