5 Arrested After Deputies Find Marijuana, Stolen Guns

Deputies say the men also had stolen cookware, TVs and other items.

Richland County deputies arrested five people Tuesday after finding almost a pound of marijuana and stolen weapons, cookware and TVs in a Columbia house. 

Marquis Clark, 21, Rico Felder, 33, Andre Daniels, 32, Khiry Williams, 19, and Jimmy Clark, 42 are each charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of stolen firearms.

Deputies received a tip about illegal activity at 211 Shealy Street, according to the sheriff's department. The Richland County Sheriff's Department Gang Task Force searched the house and found several assault rifles, a handgun, several flat-screen TVs, three military-style ballistics vests, several brand-new boxes of Paula Deen cookware, archery equipment and cash.

Additional charges are possible, Sheriff Leon Lott said.      

All five men were booked at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
