6 Killed on SC Highways
The Department of Public Safety reports 32 fewer deaths in 2012 than there were in the same time in 2011.

As of Oct. 7, 610 people have died on South Carolina highways, according to the Department of Public Safety.
Six of those deaths were between Oct. 5 and Oct. 7.

- 232 of those were no wearing seat belts
- 76 were pedestrians
- 85 were motorcyclist
- 12 were bicyclists
