As of Oct. 7, 610 people have died on South Carolina highways, according to the <a href="http://www.scdps.gov/oea/news_releases.asp" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Department of Public Safety. </a> Six of those deaths were between Oct. 5 and Oct. 7. Stats: <ul> <li>409 were motor vehicle occupants</li> <li>232 of those were no wearing seat belts</li> <li>76 were pedestrians </li> <li>85 were motorcyclist</li> <li>12 were bicyclists</li> </ul>
