Forest Acres City Council Candidates to Speak at Forum
Residents can listen to the candidates and meet them at a forum tonight.

With the election to fill two Forest Acres City Council seats just a week away, residents have a chance to meet with the six candidates in the running.
The Forest Acres Neighborhood Association is hosting a candidates forum from 6:30 to 8 p.m. tonight at St. Michael & All Angels' Episcopal Church at 6408 Bridgewood Road.
Each candidate will have 10 minutes to speak, followed by a meet-and-greet social over light refreshments.

All six candidates for council are slated to attend the forum:
- Ralph Bailey
- Jack Cantey
- Albert Epstein
- Paige George
- Beau Powell
- Shell Suber
Voters will head to the polls May 14. Two seats are up for election: the seat held by Shell Suber, who is running again, and the seat held by Charlie Fetner, who is not running again due to illness.

The two candidates with the highest vote totals win. There will not be a runoff.
