Botanical Garden Hosts Spring Plant Sale This Weekend
Public portion of sale begins at 9am Saturday.

Gardeners across the Upstate are working on their gardens this year and an event at the South Carolina Botanical Garden at Clemson University is sure to interest them.
The Spring 2013 Plant Sale will be held on Friday, April 12th (for Friends of the Garden) and Saturday, April 13th (open to the public). Â A second chance sale for those who are unable to attend will be held on April 27th.
The Friends of the Garden sale will be held 2pm – 5:30pm tomorrow.

The public sale begins at 9am Saturday, April 13 and runs until 1pm.
On hand will be dozens of never-before-offered perennials, butterfly/hummingbird attractants, and a combination of both native and exotic landscape shrubs and trees. The plant sale will also feature annuals and organically grown vegetables and herbs.

A new feature of the Spring 2013 Plant Sale will be the Collector's Corner. Â The Collector's Corner will be a selection of rare plants chosen by the Garden staff. Â These plants will be available in small quantities.Â
