Brush Fire Spreads to Outside Storage Building
The cause of the fire has not been determined

The Easley Fire Department responded to a waste fire at 897 Holly Bush Road at 7:44 p.m. on Monday.
According to fire personnel, the fire had spread to an outside storage structure located at 885 Holly Bush Road.
The structure was heavily involved with fire when the fire department arrived on the scene. The fire was contained in about an hour.

Firefighters remained on the scene to perform salvage and overhaul operations. There were no smoke detectors in the structure at the time of the fire.

Three pumper trucks and a brush unit responded to the incident, according to Capt. J.D. Willis.
Pickens County Sheriff's Office assisted with traffic control, while a S.C. Forestry Commission official worked to determine the cause of the fire.
Dacusville Fire Department assisted in overhaul and salvage operation. No injuries have been reported as a result of the fire, Willis said.
