• 14 arrested in Upstate drug investigations (wspa.com) — Fourteen people face drug trafficking and distribution charges after a coordinated December investigation involving the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office and the Easley Police Department. Authorities say the joint effort targeted meth and fentanyl dealing, including activity near parks and schools, and they’re urging Easley and Pickens County residents to keep reporting suspicious drug activity.
   

• Green Wave rally to down Daniel (yourpickenscounty.com) — Easley’s Green Wave boys rallied from a halftime deficit to beat Daniel 57–50 in the DWD Christmas basketball tournament, powered by a big night from junior forward RJ Stack. The Easley squad overcame missing key players, then later fell to Seneca in the title game, while Daniel slid into a four-game losing streak heading into the holidays.
