Easley Business Center of an Alleged Ponzi Scheme

The Secret Service raided the business on Thursday.

An Easley business at the center of an alleged Ponzi scheme investigation was raided by the U.S. Secret Service on Thursday night.

According to WYFF, on Monday, South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson filed a civil complaint alleging Ron Wilson, as president of Atlantic Bullion and Coin Inc., was running what appeared to be a $70 million Ponzi scheme. The article said there were investors in South Carolina and 24 other states.

An investors meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at Quality Inn on North Main Street in Anderson, according to the story.
