Easley's Joseph Smith Signs to Play Football at Delta State University

A fourth student from has signed to play college football in the fall.

Coach Chris Carter announced on Tuesday that Joseph Smith has signed a full athletic scholarship at Delta State University in Mississippi.

"Joseph is a fine young man and the Statesmen are getting one great long snapper," Carter said. "Joseph's signing makes four now for Easley Football with two more expected."

Other players who have signed are:

• Brandaun Addison — Gardner Webb University
• Zach Lappin — Mars Hill College
• Andrew Gilstrap — Full Academic Scholarship/Invited Walk-on — North Greenville University
• Joseph Smith —Delta State University

"The Easley High Football program is very proud of the accomplishments all four young men and wish them the best in their future endeavors," Carter said.
