Grave Markers Stolen from Storage Building in Pickens
Eight plaques that had been purchased by families were awaiting installation when they were taken from the storage area.

Pickens County Sheriff's deputies are looking for the person or persons who stole $30,000 worth of bronze plaques.
According to WYFF, eight markers that had been purchased by families to place on the graves of loved ones were locked in a storage building at Hillcrest Memorial Park on Gentry Memorial Highway in Pickens.
WYFF said each plaqued cost about $4,000, according to the article.
