The Easley Business Network will add mastermind sessions in 2014. In addition to networking and educational speakers, the mastermind sessions collectively help solve business problems or will even tackle a business issue at designated meetings. Members become trusted advisors to each other.

While mastermind groups have been around since business began, Benjamin Franklin even had one he called a βjuntoβ, the idea was formally introduced by Napoleon Hill, in his famed book "Think And Grow Rich" written in 1937. Hill defined it as "The coordination of knowledge and effort of two or more people, who work toward a definite purpose, in the spirit of harmony." He continuesβ¦ "No two minds ever come together without thereby creating a third, invisible intangible force, which may be likened to a third mind [the master mind]."
