PHOTO GALLERY: Easley High School Helps Raise Money For Pickens County Meals on Wheels

Free concert at the city's Old Market Square draws a crowd for music, games and auction

Easley High School Student Council sponsored a free concert at to benefit Pickens County Meals on Wheels during the Sam Wyche Food Fight Bowl.

Easley High School, along with rival Pickens High School, are raising food and monetary donations to help feed those in need in Pickens County. The winner will be announced at Friday's game at 8 p.m. at Easley's Brice Field. Donations and votes can be made online.

The concert featured local musicians Allison Hale, The Rising Sons, Russ & Russ, and Cold Shot. The crowd also participated in an auction, games and dancing. Among those in attendance, former Furman quarterback and Super Bowl XXIII head coach of Cincinatti Bengals Sam Wyche.
