Prayer Vigil Planned for Domestic Violence Awareness

October is domestic violence awareness month. 

A community-wide prayer vigil for domestic violence will be held on Tuesday, October 15, at 7 p.m. on the steps of the Pickens County Courthouse, Pickens, SC.       

Everyone is invited to attend. 

The event will include prayer, songs, and testimonies from surviving domestic violence victims.

MARYS House, a local faith-based nonprofit organization providing emergency shelter services and spiritual guidance to victims of domestic violence, will be present to provide domestic violence information.
