Rain, Rain For Labor Day Sticks Around Until Wednesday

The National Weather Service in Greer said showers and thunderstorms will continue through Tuesday and a 50 percent chance of rain on Wednesday

Tropical Storm Lee is bringing some heavy rain to the Upstate through Tuesday night.

A flash flood watch was issued through Wednesday for much of the Upstate, including Greenville and Pickens counties.

According to the National Weather Service in Greer, rain and thunderstorms will continue throughout the day and into the night for the Upstate with winds up to 10 mph.

Forecasters said 3 to 6 inches of rain is possible across the Upstate.

Monday's high is expected to reach the mid-70s with lows tonight in the 60s.

On Tuesday, the Upstate will have a 100 percent chance of rain through midnight. Temperatures will reach the low 60s with an afternoon high in the mid-70s. Wind is expected to gust between 5-10 mph, with a chance of 25 mph gusts in the morning.

On Wednesday, the area has a 50 percent chance of showers.
