MARYS House Second Annual Masquerade Dinner

South Carolina is now ranked number one in the nation in the number of women killed by men. 

Do you want to save the lives of families?  Buy your ticket to the second annual MARYS House masquerade dinner!  This PURPOSEFUL, fun event is made possible through the generosity of local business owner David Wingard and will be held at his restaurant, Bleu Voodoo Grill, Main Street, Easley on October 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. 

This is not only a fundraiser but an awareness event.  Come and join us for some purposeful fun!  We will hear from survivors of domestic violence, as well as representatives from MARYS House.  In addition to dinner, the event will also include door prizes and a silent auction. 

Featured auction items include signed sports merchandise from Clemson University, University of South Carolina, Carolina Panthers, and golf packages, evening dresses, art, and much more. 

The event will begin at 6pm and will feature a dinner buffet and live music by Malcolm Tempt.  Prizes will be awarded for “best mask”.  Tickets may be purchased on our web page by clicking the “Donate Now” button, at Wingard Jewelers, or at the Bleu Voodoo.  

The menu includes:   Stuffed pork chops OR Gumbo OR Shrimp and Grits, Salad, Grilled OR Steamed Vegetables, Roasted Red Potatoes, Dirty Rice, Bananas Foster Bread Pudding, Tea/Water/Coffee.  Ticket sales END on October 5th at 6:00 pm. 

We truly believe in the scripture we adopted.  Luke 17:28 says, “What is impossible with men is possible with God.”  MARYS House provides emergency shelter, services, and spiritual guidance to victims of domestic violence with no state or federal assistance. 

MARYS House is a facility built debt-free by the community and we are still debt-free.  Since opening in October 2008, we have provided shelter and/or services to over 500 women and children.
