“The Bratcher family would like the public to know that Kris is slowly recovering and getting stronger every day. It’s a waiting game at this point for the doctors and surgeons. They are waiting to see how much his foot is going to heal and then re-evaluate the treatment. The family would like to thank the “Trooper Family” and all law enforcement for their continued support of Kris. We are also grateful for the well wishes and prayers from the helicopter pilots, the Powdersville Fire Department, the Pelzer Fire Department, the Easley Fire Department, and all the family, friends and churches that have called, come by, or sent cards to Kris. We would especially like to thank the heroes of Easley Police Department and Sheriff’s Department. We ask that the public continue to pray for Kris.”

The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office continues to search for the motorcycle that Bratcher was pursuing at the time of the collision. The case remains under investigation.
