Troopers Investigating Fatal Crash on Raines Road
The wreck happened near the intersection of Highway 186
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash in Pickens County.
The wreck happened around 9:11 p.m. Wednesday at Raines Road and Highway 186.
According to troopers, the driver and a passenger of a 1997 Oldsmobile SUV were killed at the scene of the crash. The two individuals were not wearing belts and were ejected from the vehicle, troopers said.

The vehicle was traveling east on Raines Road when the driver ran off the left side of the road, over-corrected and ran off the right side of the road. The vehicle then overturned, troopers said.
The Pickens County Coroner's Office will release the names of the victims pending next of kin notification.
