Willis to Seek Another Term on County Council
Jennifer Willis of Easley currently serves as chair of the Pickens County Council.

Councilwoman Jennifer Willis, who currently serves as chair of the Pickens County Council, has announced she will run for re-election for District 5 seat representing Easley.
Willis filed on March 16 and is seeking her fourth term on council.
During her tenure on Council, Willis has been a strong advocate for families in Pickens County.

Willis also has focused on economic development, helping to recruit new businesses and to retain existing businesses. Many of those businesses went on to expand operations, creating more than 3,700 new jobs. All of this has been accomplished without a tax increase despite the challenging economic times, Willis said.
“It has been an honor to serve the citizens of Easley as their councilwoman and I am eager to continue the work that I have begun," Willis said. "Retaining and creating jobs for our citizens, planning for our families and their future. It is critical that we continue actively recruiting business while aggressively managing our resources as efficiently as possible. We have a gem in Pickens County, and we must protect it."
