5 Upcoming Events and Classes You Need to Know About
City of Goose Creek offers these upcoming classes and events.

PARENTS NIGHT OUT
Enjoy an evening out while your child is having fun at the Casey Community Center on Friday August 23, from 6-10 pm. Activities include gymnastics, games and prizes, craft time, a pizza dinner and a movie with popcorn. For children ages 4 and up, this program costs $20 / $22 non-resident with a discount for additional siblings.

RUBBER STAMPINGÂ CLASSES
Make 5 different all-occasion cards at this fun and easy class at the Casey Community Center. Class is set for Tuesday, July 23, from 6:30-8 pm.  Class fee is $12 / $14 non-resident.

GUITARÂ CLASSES
A six-week session for beginner and intermediate players starts on August 21 at the Casey Community Center.  Classes will run Wednesdays through September 25. Ages 6-9 beginners will meet at 5:15-6 pm; ages 10-13 beginners will meet at 6:15-7 pm and ages 14 and up beginners or intermediate players will meet from 7:15-8 pm. Students will need to bring an acoustic guitar. Fee is $80 / $85 non-resident.

HIP HOP AND BREAK DANCING
Ages 6-12 can learn the fundamentals of hip hop through high energy choreography and improvisations at this six-week class starting on August 30.  Classes are held on Fridays, from 5-6 pm through October 4th.
Break dancing classes are offered for ages 6 and up and will explore basic techniques of breaking and funk styles while building coordination.  Classes are for six weeks, Fridays, 6-7 pm, from August 30-October 4.Â
Fees for either class are $70 / $75 non-resident

GIANT GOOSE CREEK YARD SALE
The semi-annual Giant Yard Sale is set for Saturday, September 21, from 8 am-noon on the front lawn of the Casey Center. Rent a space for $10 ($15 for non-residents) and sell your stuff, or come and shop for great bargains.
