Celebrate Independence Day with the City of Goose Creek at our 24th annual Fabulous Fourthin the Creek festival. The Festival will be held Thursday, July 4th at 6:30 p.m. on the grounds of the Marguerite H. Brown Municipal Center and concludes at dark (around 9:30 p.m.) with a grand finale fireworks display. Last year's festival drew a crowd of over 3,500 for family entertainment, fun and fireworks.
Due to very limited parking, attendees are encouraged to arrive early and carpool. There will not be a shuttle bus this year.
The festival will feature live entertainment by the “CoastRunner Band”, an eight piece high energy party band. They will perform an exciting mix of music to entertain the crowd all evening. There will also be a variety of food vendors and a free children’s activity area sponsored by Freedom Life Church. Activities include a climbing wall, giant slide, jump castle, fun toss games and a patriotic tattoo parlor featuring temporary tattoos. Glow-in-the-dark necklaces and souvenir festival t-shirts will be available for purchase.
