County Sanitation: Avoid Standing Water on Henry Brown Boulevard

Due to the recent heavy rainfalls, a minor sanitary sewer overflow occurred in Berkeley County at one pump station.

The pump station at Henry Brown Boulevard, between Redbank and Liberty Hall Road, was affected.

Berkeley County Water and Sanitation crews are working to correct the system and a sign is being posted in the affected area to notify residents of the overflow.

DHEC officials have also been notified and upon correction, the area will be disinfected and deodorized. 

Residents are asked to avoid any standing water in this area as a safety precaution.
