On Mother’s Day weekend, honor moms everywhere by supporting a cause that helps womenand their families suffering from postpartum depression in the Lowcountry and beyond. Postpartum Support Charleston,formerly known as the Ruth Rhoden Craven Foundation, is hosting the 10 th annual 5K Moms’ Run at 8 a.m. Saturday,May 11 at Blackbaud Stadium on Daniel Island.
A Family Fun Day will immediately follow the run. Participants can enjoy music, free food and plenty of children’sactivities, including a jump castle, putt-putt golf, face painting, crafts and games. Family Fun Day lasts until noon and is free to registered race participants and a suggested $10 donation per family for non-race participants.
This annual certified 5K Moms’ Run is Postpartum Support Charleston’s largest fundraiser and furthers its efforts ofeducating, supporting and healing women suffering from postpartum depression. The volunteer-run nonprofit offerssupport groups, resources, education and grants for women who may need financial assistance getting treatment forpostpartum depression.

Race registration is $25; $30 for stroller registration (includes child T-shirt); $15 for children 10 and under. Prices increase May 1. Those who register by April 30 will receive a T-shirt, printed bib and race bag. Ladies fit T-shirts areavailable this year. Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more. Fleet Feet Sports Mount Pleasant will host packet pickup 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, May 10 and will donate 10% of allsales that day to the Moms' Run.

Race day registration and packet pickup is 6:30-7:45 a.m. Saturday, May 11. The race starts promptly at 8 a.m. atBlackbaud Stadium and continues through the scenic Etiwan Park neighborhood before ending back inside BlackbaudStadium for the awards presentation and Family Fun Day.
