Fire Destroys Goose Creek Home, Kills Dog

Two adults and two children escape blaze uninjured.

A family's home has been destroyed in Boulder Bluff following a late night fire at 12:30 a.m. Friday.

According to Assistant Fire Chief Norm Cutshall, the fire at 408 Delmont Drive began on the porch and spread to the roof. Firefighters extinguished the blaze within 10 minutes but the home had already been destroyed.

The two children and two adults residing in the home escaped uninjured but the family dog perished.
