Gazette Spotlights WWII POW Surviver in Goose Creek

The Goose Creek Gazette turned the spotlight on a Goose Creek woman who survived a World War II prisoner camp.

The publication wrote:

"Sherry Dixon was 50 when she first learned about her mother’s terrifying past ... She was a prisoner of war between the ages of eight and 11, and was put in a Japanese concentration camp on Guam during World War II."

Dixon wrote a fictional account of her mother's past in Natural Destiny. Click here to order on Amazon.com.
