Single Vehicle Wreck Injures 1, Backs Up Traffic for Hours
Summerville man transported to MUSC after being ejected from vehicle in wreck.

A wreck at mile marker 191 westbound on Interstate 26 temporarily shut down both lanes Wednesday afternoon, according to S.C. Highway Patrol.
Officials advised a detour using exit 194 to US 176 westbound following a single vehicle wreck that sent the driver to MUSC via air transport. The wreck caused delays for hours on I-26.
Dustin Driscoll, 21, of Summerville was traveling westbound when, at mile marker 191, his vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree. Driscoll was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle in the wreck.Â
