UPDATE: Nine S.C. Residents Killed in Alaska Plane Crash
Report: S.C. fatalities in Alaska crash were from Greenville.

Update, Monday, 6:20 p.m.:Â The nine people from South Carolina killed in an Alaskan plane crash are all believed to be from Greenville, The State newspaper online has reported.
State Rep. Bruce Bannister of Greenville told the newspaper that his neighbor, Milton Antonakos, his wife Kimberly, and their three children — Anna, Olivia and Mills — were among the dead.
The paper reported that another family of four, the McManus family of Greenville, were also killed in the crash, but have yet to be identified.
Bannister told the paper Milton Antonakos was "one of those people that would just spend any amount of time that he needed to with his kids," while wife Kimberly was always volunteering at her children's schools. Bannister told The State several of the children were on a local swim team.
"They were just an absolutely fabulous family," he told the paper.

Anchorage Daily News reported:
"The de Havilland DHC-3 Otter airplane crashed at 11:20 a.m. Sunday at the Soldotna Airport, according to the Alaska State Troopers and Soldotna Police Department. The plane was operated by Rediske Air, according to the Federal Aviation Administration."
Click here to read more.This is the second Alaskan plane crash to claim the lives of South Carolinians in the past two weeks. Two people from Simpsonville in Greenville County and their pilot died June 28 when their twin-engine plane crashed enroute from Fairbanks to Homer, Alaska. The National Transportation Safety Board said in a preliminary report that foul weather was likely the cause of that fatal crash.
