Painting the Town Pink: Vandals Strike Goose Creek Neighborhood

Mailboxes and vehicles damaged and spray-painted pink along Red Cypress Drive.

A slew of residents on Red Cypress Drive in Woodland Lakes woke up to a nasty surprise Friday morning: mailboxes smashed and cars spray painted pink.

About seven homes were affected by the vandalism that occured sometime between midnight and 3 a.m.

Scott Cooper has lived in the neighborhood for nearly 8 years. In the last year, he's noticed a difference, beginning with a home burglarly last year. He attributes most of the crimes to teenagers who likely don't live in the neighborhood.
