Police Identify Suspect in Monday's Hostage Situation
Christopher Flowers will have his bond hearing 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

A hostage situation on Red Bank Road Monday evening ended with the suspect, identified as Christopher Flowers, surrendering to Goose Creek Police.
Flowers, 31, of Goose Creek is charged with armed robbery, attempted murder, kidnapping and possession of a firearm during a violent crime, for the incident at Beer and Tobacco Food Mart. Bond hearing is at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The store's owner suffered a gunshot wound to his finger and side of his neck, and was the only hostage in the situation.Â

Goose Creek Police responded to the store at just after 6 p.m. Monday. Officers responded to the rear of the door first and could hear the victim crying for help. He let officers know the suspect was armed.
Later, Flowers communicated with police via cell phone, and he surrendered to authorities.
