• WEEKLY - Four from Pee Dee earn SCFCA's Palmetto Champions honors (copy) (islandpacket.com) — Hartsville football fans can celebrate kicker Gerardo Segura, a sophomore who earned the South Carolina Football Coaches Association Palmetto Champions honor as Class 4A Lower State special teams player of the year after a near-perfect season on extra points and strong field-goal stats. Players and a coach from Lake View and Carvers Bay also received Lower State awards.
