• Kershaw County Issues Urgent Scam Alert (kool1027.com) — Kershaw County is warning residents about scammers posing as Planning and Zoning staff and trying to collect payments through illegitimate methods. Officials stress that real invoices come via the Evolve online portal or in-person cash or check, and they will never request wire transfers through outside banks. If you’re unsure about any county payment request, call the department directly, especially Planning and Zoning at 803-425-7233.
