• Man arrested for tattooing minor and providing drugs in Lancaster (wsoctv.com) — Lancaster County deputies arrested a 39-year-old man after a search of his Camp Creek Road home uncovered drugs and tattoo equipment tied to allegations involving a 15-year-old girl. He faces multiple charges, including tattooing a minor and drug distribution, and was released on bond, while Sheriff Barry Faile stressed the department’s focus on protecting young people. 
• Major mixed-use project coming to Indian Land (wsoctv.com) — A large mixed-use project called The Point is planned along Highway 521 in Indian Land, bringing a hotel, restaurants, daycare, medical offices, and retail to 44 acres near Marvin Road. While the site is already zoned, Lancaster County voters recently rejected a sales-tax hike to widen 521, meaning needed road upgrades may wait years for federal funding even as development accelerates.
