Bumble Bee Tuna Issues Recall
Company says some 5-ounce cans may not be sealed tightly enough to prevent spoiling

Bumble Bee Tuna lovers should check their cupboards for cans affected by recall.
San Diego based Bumble Bee Tuna issued a recall order for 5-ounce cans of chunk white albacore in water and chunk light tuna in water and vegetable oil with "best by" dates that range from Jan. 16, 2016 through Jan. 18, 2016. The tuna was sold nationwide between Jan. 17 and Feb. 28, according to the Huffington Post.
In a statement issued Wednesday the company said some of the cans may not have been sealed tightly enough, allowing pathogens into the product that can spoil the tuna and sicken consumers.
