Gaston Man Dies in Crash on Charleston Highway
The wreck happened around 2:50 a.m. Friday.

A 29-year-old Gaston man died at the hospital after wrecking on Charleston Highway early Friday morning, according to the S.C. Highway Patrol.
John A. Mills was driving south on Charleston Highway when he ran off the road around 2:50 a.m., said Lance Cpl. Brent Kelly. His 2013 Dodge Avenger hit an embankment.Â
Mills was not wearing a seatbelt, Kelly said. He was transported to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.Â
