Lexington Kohl's to Undergo $1.2M in Renovations

Kohl's department store on Sunset Boulevard will get a $1.2 million makeover starting in August.

Most of the renovations will take place inside the store, said Manager Mike Autry, and include new carpet, fitting rooms and lighting. 

Some upgrades will also be made to the store's facade, Autry said.

The Lexington location is one of 40 to 80 stores across the country that the company is remodeling, he said.

Work will be completed at nighttime over a five-week period.
