Oak Grove Elementary Students Put Leadership Skills to Good Use
The students help younger students get breakfast, find seats and clean up.

A group of Oak Grove Elementary fourth and fifth-grade students demonstrate their leadership skills every morning at school by helping breakfast run smoothly. The group helps younger students get their food, find seats and clean up.
When students volunteer to participate in the group, organized by Oak Grove Elementary second-grade teacher Cassie Stone, they also pledge to maintain good grades and set an example for other students by demonstrating good behavior at all times.
“I am learning to be a leader and I like that next year when I go to middle school, other students at OGES will be following my example,” said Oak Grove Elementary fifth-grader Jordan Evans.
