Police Arrest 2 on Drug Charges after Traffic Stop

The car was stopped on West Main Street Friday.

Police arrested a Lexington woman and a Leesville man Friday after finding pills, marijuana and drug paraphernalia in their car during a traffic stop, according to a Lexington Police Department incident report. 

Arica Aleen Million, 27, is charged with possession of schedule II and III narcotics and drug paraphernalia. Brian Christopher Bledsoe, 43, is charged with simple possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and trafficking pseudophedrine.

An officer pulled over a maroon-colored Saturn around 2 a.m. on West Main Street after noticing that the license plate was expired, according to the report. Million was driving the car.

The officer noticed that Million was shaking when she handed over her driver's license and registration, according to the report. She told the officer she has diabetes. The officer asked about needles he saw in the vehicle, and Million said she didn't have a prescription for them. 

When an officer asked the passenger, Bledsoe, to step out of the vehicle, he saw an unmarked clear capsule containing a white powdery substance on the seat, according to the report. Bledsoe told the officer it was a vitamin.

Officers then searched the car and found a purse, a tan zipper bag and a wallet on the driver's seat, according to the report. Million said the wallet belonged to her friend. Police found three acetaminophen and hydrocoden pills and two morphine pills in the wallet. 

The found syringes, q-tips, a lighter, a tightly-rolled dollar bill and 2 small plastic bag corners with a white residue in the tan zipper bag, according to the report. They also found a small plastic silver spoon with a white residue on the passenger's seat and a large plastic bag with a white residue on the back seat. 

The officers then found a camouflage travel bag under the passenger's seat, according to the report. The bag contained three glass meth pipes, a gram scale, a plastic bag containing a green, leafy substance, pills, and bags and spoons with a white residue. 

Million and Bledsoe were arrested and booked at the Lexington County Detention Center.
