School Dismissed at White Knoll High After Bomb Threat
Law enforcement officials believe the threat was a prank, but the district dismissed students to be safe.

School officials dismissed students at White Knoll High Monday morning after receiving what law enforcement officials believe was a prank bomb threat, a spokesperson for Lexington County School District One said.
"In light of everything happening across the world, we’ve decided to be extremely cautious and dismiss school," said Mary Beth Hill, chief communication officer for the district.Â
After receiving the threat, the school notified the sheriff's department, accounted for every student on campus and evacuated the building, Hill said.Â
