Speak Out: Are Your Kids Safe After 2 Possible Kidnappings?

Deputies are investigating two incidents in which a man tried to pick up a young girl after she got off of the school bus. 

The incidents both happened near South Congaree less than a month apart. 

In February, a man offered a ride to a 14-year-old girl who had just stepped off the bus at a stop on Edmund Highway. 

Last week, a 9-year-old girl found a man waiting in a car in her driveway. When she ran, he started to chase her. 

Both girls got away safely and alerted adults who called the Lexington County Sheriff's Department.
