• MPD Electric Cooperative provides $183K+ investment for economic development (wpde.com) — Marion County is receiving more than $188,000 from MPD Electric Cooperative to support upcoming economic development and infrastructure projects that aim to benefit local residents and businesses. County leaders say the funds, made possible through a state utility tax credit, will back a yet-to-be-announced project designed to strengthen services and growth in Marion and other rural communities served by the co-op.
