Acts of Vandalism Likely Related, Police Say

Mauldin Police said that a series of acts of vandalism in the area (see map) off Old Mill Road near Basswood Lane are related.

On Friday evening five different properties were vandalized that are in the same neighborhood:

• 102 Basswood Drive
• 111 Basswood Drive
• 112 Basswood Drive
• 203 Libby Lane
• 98 Salado Lane

are asking for anyone with information regarding the vandalism to call 864.289.8900.

The following incidents were provided by the Mauldin Police and do not indicate a conviction:

November 11

• An individual was charged with aggravated assault at 403 West Butler Road.
• Burglary, grand larceny and malicious damage charges were filed as a result of an incident at 107A East Butler Road, which is in the Butler East Shopping Plaza.
• A person was charged with driving under the influence on East Butler Road.

November 13

• Hit and run charges were filed as a result of an incident at 1328 Alexandrite Lane.
