• New Mauldin soccer stadium on track for 2026 season (wspa.com) — A new 6,400-seat soccer stadium at BridgeWay Station in Mauldin is on schedule to host Greenville Triumph and Greenville Liberty games by mid-2026, backed partly by $4 million in city funding. Construction is rapidly advancing on seating, scoreboard, and field, with planners also working on parking and traffic to make the site a year-round destination for Mauldin, Simpsonville, and the broader Upstate. 
• SC: Wahalla - Domestic Defense, Disarm, Gunfight, Three victims Wounded (beforeitsnews.com) — Law enforcement say a man from Mauldin drove to a home on Coffee Road in Walhalla, where an argument with a former partner escalated into gunfire that wounded her and two men. Others at the house disarmed him once, but deputies say he produced a second weapon before being shot at and later found with non-life-threatening injuries near a nearby school.
