'Blitz' Totals In and It's a New Record

The Mavs Blitz fundraiser raised over $40,000.

Many thanks to Membership Vice Chairpersons, Vicki Bynum and Leigh Sharp, for executing a successful Blitz.  Many thanks to all the parents that drove, parents that donated food and drinks, as well as all the many workers who helped serve the hot dog dinner, counted money, and filled out membership forms.

Thanks goes out to the over 300 students who left the  parking lot in cars and solicited donations for the MAVS Booster Club on a hot and humid Sunday. Thanks also to the booster club representatives and team coaches who ensured that students would show up today. Thanks also go out to Bruce Richardson who brought the equipment to cook the hot dogs.

We actually deposited $ 40,732.22 which is a record breaking performance.
