The Greater Greenville Sanitation Commission announced that starting on Aug. 22 trash will be collected on a four-day week.
The commission will also be switching to a single-stream collection system.
The decision will help reduce costs improve services by reinvesting funds back into collection and processing operations, according to a press release.
