Volunteers Needed for the Booster Blitz on Sunday

Dear parents and student athletes, 

We need your help! Most of you don't realize how essential it is for as many athletes and parents to participate in the BOOSTER BLITZ. This is our most important fund raiser that benefits all teams. Without the blitz we would not have the funds to support our teams.  The funds are used to maintain our fields, pay coaches, purchase uniforms and protective equipment, and to upgrade our Mauldin facilities. Right now we have only have about 24 parent volunteers to help with all aspects of the blitz. We need 80 more drivers!!! We only need you for three hours on Sunday, Aug. 21 so come on out and join the fun. Your teams need you! For fall teams please talk to both your coaches and parents. Coaches during practices this week should be making sure that students will participate this Sunday and to make sure drivers will be there for them from your parents or coaching staff. For your winter and spring teams it is a little harder, we need all the reps and coaches, if you do not have a rep, to make sure that your athletes show up and participate on Sunday and they they all have adequate drivers. Please remember for liability purposes drivers must be parents. Remember we want to have 95 cars out there filled with students helping our athletic program this Sunday. Many thanks in advance for making this the most successful blitz ever. Students and drivers will be sent out at 2 p.m. on Sunday so please be prompt.
