As anyone who has driven through Mauldin in the past few weeks knows, landscaping work is being done on Main Street. The work comes as a result of federal "beautification" dollars. While the landscaping has spruced up an otherwise bland stretch of road, some business owners are working with the city to make sure their businesses aren't overshadowed by the improvements.
