Ask Patch: What's Being Built On South Main Street?

Earlier this week we had someone inquire about the construction taking place on S. Main Street near the ramp for I-385. Not to be confused with the new McAfee Funeral Home which is being built on the north side of the street, a separate project is also underway.

The site--which is pictured above--will be the new home to a Spinx convenience store. According to Peter Nomikos, Building and Zoning Director for the city of Mauldin. Spinx applied for a building permit early last week. Projected completion date is undetermined, but we'll pass it along as soon as we find out.
