Autobreakings Reported in Mauldin
Camera equipment, expensive sunglasses among stolen items.

A pair of autobreakings were reported earlier this week, leading to the theft of camera equipment and expensive sunglasses, Mauldin Police reports said.
An Indiana couple visiting parents in Mauldin reported someone broke into their car on Fire Island Way, stealing camera equipment valued at $1,300, the report said. Stolen was a Nikon D-5000 camera and its bag, plus two lenses and a memory card, the report said.
In the second autobreaking, a thief apparently had his eyes on a pair of expensive sunglasses in a car on Saddlebrook Lane. A Mauldin man reported that a thief managed to enter his car and take two pairs of sunglasses, including a pair of Costa sunglasses valued at $128, along with a cheaper pair of Knockarounds, the report said.
Both cases remain under investigation.
