BI-LO 50th Anniversary Tour Makes Final Stop Today in Simpsonville
Lots of deals at the last of 36 stops on a four-state tour

The BI-LO Blast From The Past vintage Airstream trailer will be making its final stop in two-month, four-state tour in Simpsonville today starting at noon. The stop will take place at the BI-LO located at 699 Fairview Road. The event last until 2 p.m.
Customers will have the opportunity to win one of several prizes during the anniversary celebration. Ten winners will receive $250 worth of groceries, with nine of those winners at the event and one winner chosen through BI-LO’s Facebook page. Another 10 winners will receive a free tank of gas at the event, valued at up to $70.
BI-LO will also be giving away 25 reusable shopping bags filled with BI-LO store-brand products, and 100 individuals will walk away with a retro T-shirt celebrating of the company’s 50-year heritage. Customers at the store event can also take advantage of rollback pricing from noon to 2 p.m. the day of the tour stop on Coca Cola® glass-bottle six packs, which were priced at 99 cents in 1961, the year BI-LO was founded.

“BI-LO wanted to do something very special for our customers for whom we have had the privilege of providing savings without sacrificing on quality, service or price these past 50 years,” said BI-LO President and CEO Michael Byars. “We wanted our Blast From The Past tour to be something that everyone in our market could participate in, and we hope that our customers take advantage of the festivities and great prizes we have planned for each tour stop along the way.”
