Candidates Debate Set for Next Tuesday

A chance to meet the candidates for Mayor and City Council

In partnership with the League of Women's Voters of Greenville County Mauldin Patch is proud to announce candidates' debates for the office of mayor and for two of the three city council seats.

Next Tuesday at 7 p.m. at , candidates for Mayor and for Council Seats 4 and 6 will convene to talk about the future of Mauldin.

The candidates for Mayor are incumbent Don Godbey and challenger Dennis Raines.

The candidates for city council are James Kennedy, Scott Crosby, Michael Reynolds, Larry Goodson and Nantambu Calhoun.

Kennedy and Crosby are competing for Seat 4 on the Council. Kennedy is the incumbent.

Reynolds, Goodson and Calhoun are candidates for Seat 6 with Reynolds the incumbent.

Bon Cook, who currently holds Seat 2 is running for re-election unopposed. He was declared the winner last week by the Election Commission and his name will not appear on the ballot.

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 8.
