Candlelight Vigil Held for Cold Case Victims

was the setting on Thursday evening for a candlelight vigil to honor victims of crimes whose cases have not been solved.

Families of victims were in attendance at the event organized by Dexter K. Reaves and Traci Young Fant. Attendees received advice on how to work with the media and law enforcement officials from Paul Silvaggio, a former homicide detective and officer in Silvaggio Investigations LLC.

Victim's advocate Tanya Anderson of the City of Greer also discussed coping mechanisms and how she dealt with unexpected loss.
